Event Details

The Office of Intramural Training and Education (OITE) at the NIH has decided to open much of their fall programming to trainees in the extramural community. You can join their informational distribution list at  https://www.training.nih.gov/sas/_20/426/.

In addition,  you can register for the webinars using the links below, or at https://www.training.nih.gov,  and check under “upcoming events”. Trainees who participate in the webinar or who watch the webinar online at another time, are welcome to participate in the small group discussions. Groups will be held each Monday and Tuesday one week following the webinar. Trainees who complete five of the small groups and who participate in, or watch, all of the webinars will receive a certificate upon completion of the series. The series topics and dates are listed below:

In addition,  the OITE will sponsor several webinars focused on the mental health and wellness of biomedical trainees. Many of the webinars will end with small group discussions and a chance to practice new skills and jointly explore new topics. Please mark your calendar for October 5 from 1 – 3:30 EST for the first webinar. The topic is suicide prevention and awareness (to mark suicide prevention month in September); the webinar will be open to trainees, staff, and faculty with discussion groups for each population.
