Established professor, Dr. Elizabeth Jaffee  and junior faculty member, Dr. Benjamin Larman will share their mentorship journey, discuss mentoring trainees with different social, cultural and academic backgrounds and take questions on becoming an effective and valuable mentor.

Dr. Jaffee is the Deputy Director of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Deputy Director of the Institute of Clinical and Translational Research, Professor of Oncology, Chair of the National Cancer Advisory Board and President of AACR 2018. Dr. Jaffee has trained and mentored multiple fellows who have since become faulty and has successfully sponsored many K awards.

Dr. Larman is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and directs the Laboratory of Precision Immunology. As a junior faculty. Dr. Larman has already made a name for himself among learners as an amazing mentor and scientist.
